Nexif Ratch Energy is developing a 475 MW offshore wind project (“Lucena”) situated in Lucena and Saraiya , Quezon province, Philippines.
Lucena has secured a Offshore Wind Service Contract (“SC”) with Department of Energy in 2021 for a contract area of 6,237 hectares.
A met mast has been installed since March 2023 to collect wind data.
Lucena Wind Power Project has been awarded the Green Lane Certificate by the Philippines’ Board of Investments (BOI) in December 2024.
In January 2025, Lucena Wind Power Project was granted the Certificate of Energy Project of National Significance (CEPNS) by the Department of Energy of the Philippines in January 2025. CEPNS designates the project as a Strategic Investment, enabling a more efficient process for permits and licenses with both national agencies and LGUs.
