Mr. Ravi Chandran has over 30 years’ experience in the development, financing, construction and operation of power and desalination projects in Vietnam, Sri Lanka and the Middle East.
Previously with AES Corporation from January 1999 to November 2011, a global power company, Ravi was a Director, Business Development in India. Prior to India, Ravi was based in Hanoi and as President & CEO of AES Vietnam, he led the successful development of the 1,200 MW Mong Duong coal-fired power project, which is the largest coal-fired independent power project in the country to be successfully financed on a limited recourse basis. While based in Colombo, Mr. Chandran led the successful development and financing of the 165 MW AES Kelanitissa, the first private power project in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Chandran holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the Nagpur University, India and graduated with honors in 1989. Mr. Chandran also holds a diploma in financial management from Annamalai University, Chennai, India.
Mr. Pankaj Sakhuja has over 16 years’ experience in Business Development, M&A, and Project & Structured Finance with a primary focus on Power sector transactions.
Previously, Pankaj was co-founder and Executive Director of an India and South-East Asia focused Infrastructure Asset Management firm providing investment advisory and asset management services to international institutional investors in the domain of Power sector investments. Pankaj has also previously worked with Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), IL&FS Group, SBI Capital Markets Ltd. and Power Finance Corporation in India in various capacities in the areas of Business development, M&A, Debt and Equity mobilization & funding, and sectoral advisory services with a primary focus on the Power sector.
He completed his post-graduation in Business Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurugram (India) and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (India).
Khun Hansa Tontikun has over 24 years of experience in project development, construction, and plant performance improvement for Small Power Producers (SPP) in Thailand and Hydroelectric Power plant in Laos.
Previously, working with a Japanese EPC Contractor company, Khun Hansa handled project management and successfully controlled and led the project for quality, safety, time, and budget as planned for the SPP projects in Rayong, Bangkok, Ayutthaya, and Patumtani Province. Also, he was assigned to the project coordinator and strategic planning for a recovery project in Xepian Xe Namnoy Hydropower Plant in Laos
Khun Hansa Tontikun graduated in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Kasetsart University and Master of Public and Private Management Program from National Institute of Development Administration. in Thailand
Khun Wuthichai Ithisuriyakul has over 22 years of professional experience in power sector in Thailand in the areas of project planning and control, construction management, contract administration to post-contract claims analysis, O&M including setting up of O&M team and oversight, joint venture and stakeholder management particularly with government authorities.
He has previously worked with international Independent Power Producers and engineering consultant company including Glow Group (Engie), JERA Power and Tractebel Engineering. He has successfully managed the construction of combined cycle power plants with a total capacity of 360 MW of JERA Power and also has extensive experience in commissioning and operation of coal-fired power plants. He was also responsible for plant performance and asset management of Glow Group in Thailand.
He completed a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University and thereafter Master of Science in Technology Management from College of Innovation, Thamasat University.
